Great Meeting Place in San Rafael

Share

Coffee in San RafaelBeing a consultant I work from home so I am always on the lookout for good, locally owned cafés where I can meet with people. Today I had a meeting at Aroma Café in San Rafael. I like the vibe of Aroma, it feels almost big city-ish but is very relaxed at the same time. Aroma is the kind of coffee shop I could install myself in for a whole day. They have cool art hanging on the walls, plenty of tables and even a couch and comfy chairs. Aroma is locally owned and in addition to coffees and teas they offer a wonderful variety of healthy food. Today I had a latte and it was great! In the past, I tried their Mediterranean Plate which was awesome! The Mediterranean Plate comes with Tabbouleh, Hummus, Falafel, Olives, Doma, Spring Salad, Pita and a few other things.

Aroma offers wireless internet (for a small fee) and also has some computers with high speed internet that you can rent in 20 minute increments. They are a cash only business and in case you forget your cash they have an ATM inside the Café.

Downtown San Rafael has become quite a booming place. One thing I love to do is get a window seat at Aroma with a good friend and just people watch. You can see all sorts of interesting people walking by on 4th street.

Aroma is located (right next to the Rafael Film Center) at:
1122 4th Street
San Rafael CA, 94904

Hmmmm…. Aroma sounds like quite the place – odd that I haven’t been there yet. I’m convinced, going next week for sure 🙂
