Two minutes in San Francisco

Share

My two minute walk through San Francisco from the BART station to my bus stop.
I enter the sea of people

Everybody rushing

Smells of urine

Cars honking

Cars everywhere

No parking

Extreme wealth

Extreme poverty

“Can you spare a few dollars?” (Pretend not hear him.)

Feel guilty

Notice the ground is wet

I wonder: Where do all the homeless people in San Francisco sleep on rainy nights?

Loud after work crowd of drunk men walks by

I get on the bus

Another day around the Bay comes to a close.

And, I am happy to be heading home.
